Headphones are an accessories market many companies have tapped into lately, trying to create the consummate "lifestyle" headphones that allow you to express yourself while providing some soundwaves. One of these companies is Aerial7, who launched in December 2008 with the premise of providing amazing sound and eye-catching designs at an affordable price. Its initial product collection, dubbed Street Series, consists of three distinct styles with various color ways. BNQT was able to test out two of these styles, so we ll break. them. down.

The Tank

You a DJ? You mix it up on the ones and twos? Well the Tank is for you, my friend. Designed for sonic supremacy, the Tank allows you to explore the entire gamut of sound from low bass grooves to crisp highs. Incorporating uber-thick cushions for your ears, the Tanks are among the most comfortable headphones I ve used. A7 does it right by including a thick coiled cable for standard music players and a thin straight cable designed specifically for your iPhone. The only thing that bothered me with the Tank was the ever-slight looseness in adjusting the fit. Aside from this, if sonic booms of sound explosion are what you desire, then step up to the turntables and get yourself a pair of the Tanks.

The Matador

Aerial7 s other DJ headphones, the Matador, hold the highest standard for being beyond bue o. The profile is more slim and compact, yet still delivers the crisp and prominent tunes like the other series of phones. The comfortable and ultra-thick ear cushions allow the listener to jam effortlessly when connected to an iPhone, MP3 player or their computer. The Matador comes in the Joker version, for all those 80 s obsessed, fluorescent-loving kids and the Midnight version - total stealth bomber. With a legit price being less than 50 bucks, we all should get in touch with our inner bullfighter. Ol !
